I was intrigued to find this product since most salicylic acid serums contain only salicylic 2%. While I was enjoying using the ordinary's 2% salicylic serum on my breakouts, this one works better and faster. The formulation is not drying and non irritating, so using this once a day on the areas with breakouts is completely fine. It is an excellent formulation which helps with balancing sebum production as well as brightening the skin is a bonus. A little goes a long way so do not apply to much of the product because you will have to keep rubbing it in for a while for complete absorption. I am a skincare junkie and highly recommend this for persons with acne.

I switched to this product after trying The Ordinary's Salicylic Acid 2% Solution. This can tingle when applied to the skin, but I have found it to not be irritating. It is also very effective with helping to minimize breakouts or to heal scars, and applies very easily (a little goes a long way!). Overall, a very pleasant product to use.

Would I recommend this yes BUT it’s very important that you don’t use it more then 3 times per week when you start and go with spacing in between each use!!!! This is very strong and will do more harm then good if over applied. Follow it’s instructions and then rub in!!! Once I got through the purging this caused for a few weeks and my face has been improving massively!!!

I bought this because I needed a SA substitute for TO's SA acid that was unfortunately discontinued. I have combo (oily t zone normal face ) skin that can be very acne prone. Salicylic acid can be a little harsh & causes dehydrated skin for me but it's one of the only skincare product that effectively get rid of my pimples & holds cystic acne at bay. I used the entire bottle & I rate it 4 stars.

I’ve used this maybe 3 times and I can already see a huge improvement in my skin! This stuff is very effective and non irritating. It goes on like a serum. I had a weird sudden breakout of closed comedones on my forehead and nothing seemed to be working... but this helped. Not completely but definitely saw a huge improvement. If you have had closed comedones before you know how stubborn they are to treatment. Great product. Great price!

This product does what it is supposed to do. I will dry out your skin if you use it too much or place it in sensitive areas too often. Use it wisely and it will reduce the size of a blemish. Using it several times in the same spot will probably dry the skin out to a peeling point, which is not a bad thing for some areas of the face. Just be careful, don't over-do, and go slowly using it sparingly at first to see how it does on your skin.

After trying everything and going backwards and forwards to the Drs about my acne, it's lovely to FINALLY find something that works! I use this morning and night, after washing my face with Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser and then waiting 30ish mins and applying Cetaphil Moisturising Cream - this combo has worked wonders and my skin is looking so much healthier! Can't recommend enough and perhaps will try out their other products.

I had been dealing with horrible acne for over a year. It was progressively getting worse. I had been trying a lot of OTC face washes and nothing was working. My skin hasn't looked this good in a long time. I've already purchased the entire kit and will continue to repurchase. Now just know I still do experience breakouts, but nothing compared to what it was before I started using Divulge's products. It doesn't sting, burn, irritate, or dry out my skin at all. I highly recommend this. It's effective and inexpensive. One thing I do recommend: once your skin starts to clear up and get better, exfoliate your skin maybe once a week to really get in there and take off dead skin cells.

I highly, highly recommend this product! I am in my 30’s and have been breaking out in my chin area. I love this product. I had lots of hyperpigmentation from past acne marks that wouldn’t go away and on my cheek, I would get about 3 new pimples a week that would take a week to get rid of. I’ve used this for 10 days and the pigmentation 80% is going away. I like this product because for my pigmentation I tried some ordinary products but those just got rid of my dark marks- it didn’t stop my acne from coming. This does both!!! I love this product!! While I like this product for treating and controlling everyday breakouts, it did not do much for treating deep, cystic acne. I was a little hesitant to try this serum but I've been keeping up with their blog for about 2 months and reading up on everything so I thought I had to give this a try and so glad I did. For the past few years, I have been dealing with cystic acne which I never had before. I did try a treatment that is advertised on TV but, when I stopped using it, my face only got worse. I had gone to my dermatologist and she told me the what I was using will make acne worse when stopped. So, she gave me a prescription strength topical cream along with antibiotics. Both worked and helped my skin recover from the previous treatment I tried. I did find that my skin was drying out from the prescription strength cream and I did not want to be on antibiotics long term. So, I sought out other treatments that could possibly help me when I get flares of both acne and cystic acne. Last year, I came across Divulge Beauty and purchased the set that included the mandelic and was very surprised at how well it worked. It cleared up my acne and also the cystic acne that I was getting and it did not dry out my face. When I stopped using it, my acne did not come back either. Since running out of it, I was very happy that I could purchase just what I needed without buying the whole set again.

I do have very dry and sensitive skin so I'm pretty cautious about what products I put on my skin, especially my face. My son also has acne and does seem to be cutting down on his breakouts even though he isn't using it as regularly as is recommended on the box. So it does work pretty good, and I would imagine it works even better when used as recommended.I like that the products don't have weird or bad odors. It also feels nice on your skin, though as I mentioned it did dry out my skin afterwards causing me to need more moisturizer than usual. Found this serum from an instagram ad asking if I knew what acid worked best for my skin type and had no idea nor ever even thought of that. At the time I was actually using something that had 3-4 small %'s of different ones in it and it was kind of helping my acne. When I stumbed on their website and read into picking the right one for my skin type it landed me on salicylic so I decided to try it out since I was almost done with the other bottle I had from a different company. Been using this for 2 weeks now and it has helped more than any other serum I've used before and i'm blown away because it's just salicylic acid!!!! I guess less is more like you said and picking the right one for your skin type really was my problem. Overall I can just tell my skin texture has improved, dark spots lightened but most of all I don't have future breakouts coming and this has already brought my existing breakouts down and some are already completely gone so can't wait to see what my face looks like in another 2 weeks.

This may work great, but it was too strong for my daughter's skin. She sensitive, and felt it stung too much, so we only used it once. Perhaps it just takes some getting used to, and if any big breakout occurs, we might try it again.

I was very skeptical to use this product, considering my past experiences with salycilic acid, which never previously worked for me, and usually made my breakouts worse. I don’t know what it is about this one, but it truly works, my skin is already a lot clearer after just 5 days of use! It might have to do with the ingredients, no oils, no fragrance and non-comedogenic. I do notice the ones in the past had long lists of ingredients all prob giving me sensitivity.

I’m a 26 year old female with combination oily and dry skin. When I say combination I mean my t zone is an oil slick and my cheeks will simultaneously be peeling like a snake. It’s frustrating because proactiv dried and irritated my skin while the gentler products didn’t do anything in the way of clearing my acne. I have clogged pores on my forehead and chin especially. They don’t always turn into full blown zits but they do cause tiny raised bumps that are so hard to get rid of! This product has reduced the amount of bumps on my forehead and chin by about half after a full week of use. It’s also quite gentle. It doesn’t dry my dry prone areas out. It’s fragrance free and feels light on my face. I like this product a lot because it’s the only thing I’ve found that helps with my acne without over drying my skin. I’ll continue to use it and see if more of the clogged pores clear and reduce the bumpiness.

I had very annoying combination skin with redness and pinpoint acne all over, and an especially angry t-zone. I’m allergic to everything so I was very worried about trying this. It solved all my skin problems. I can finally wear make up without it looking fake and cakey due to dry patches, but I rarely do, because my skin looks amazing and I want to show it off! Even my very painful cystic acne on my chin and jawline has been drastically reduced. I’d say my skin is 98% clear, and most importantly it’s not angry and painful anymore. My skin feels great!

Today, I only wore a drop of foundation with my fav moisturizer and my skin looked flawless. to be fair, my acne wasn't that bad + I had a facial yesterday. Ok this whole system is AMAZING. I have bought so many other things and nothing worked. This worked nearly as well as Accutane had. This treatment really does work! I didn't shop around at all, just went by the reviews and tried this first. Honestly, don't bother hunting for other products to compare. Save some money. It does have an effect in 2-3 days. Although it won't clear everything up in a couple of days, if you keep using it, it will keep your skin clear. It doesn't dry out skin horribly. Been working well for me. My acne isn’t completely gone, but it’s definitely improved in terms of inflammatory acne. I have had some more closed comedome type acne since I have been using this, and I think it’s because the cleanser isn’t exfoliating. I used to use an exfoliating scrub, so I will try alternating that with these products and see how it goes. The best thing about this is no dryness! I get little dry eczema patches on my chin (of course right where my acne is) and this system didn’t aggravate it at all. A lot of acne treatments are too drying to apply to my problem areas. Overall I am pleased and am looking forward to trying more products.
